Anti-discriminatory Issues

Anti-discriminatory Issues Committee

The Anti-discriminatory Issues (ADI) Committee is one of a number of Committees set up to aid the operation of the Consortium. The ADI Committee's remit is to consult about, advise on and monitor all Consortium activities in relation to anti-oppressive practice.

Over the years the ADI Committee has held workshops to look at issues of race and ethnicity, sexuality and disability. One of these included a workshop on disability which was arranged to look at the implications of new legislation for post-16 education. Material from this workshop can be found by following the link below. This material includes notes from the two speakers and summaries from the four discussion groups.
